Emirates Riverside Cricket Ground, Chester le Street is once again the host for the Durham Wedding Show and attracts Brides and Grooms from across the North East but in particular the adjacent areas of County Durham and Sunderland with many travelling down the A1 from Newcastle and Gateshead areas too.

Durham County Cricket Club’s home ground at Chester le Street now know as Emirates Riverside has some fabulous views of Lumley Castle and River Wear. . They recently added two modern contemporary suites,with locally derived traditional names of ‘The Castle View’ and ‘The Cathedral Suite’ which truly enhance this beautiful location and Weddings can now take place throughout the season regardless of the fixtures of the home Cricketing team Durham CCC which gives the venue much greater scope to accommodate for Weddings.
Attending the Durham Wedding Show is absolutely FREE with no ticket required!
Free pre-registration is recommended for Priority Entry as the queues are long and you will the latest editions of some fabulous Wedding Magazines whilst stocks last.
The event which has approximately 70 exhibitors over 2 buildings and 3 floors Recent developments at Emirates Durham International Cricket Ground including a planned new Hotel and huge conference facilities will help create the largest conference and Hotel facilities in the Durham region.
